DANKE DANKE DANKE!!! (06.11.2008)

A big-ass THANK YOU to everyone who came out for the Halloween Party! It was the biggest (400+ zombies) and best one ever, and it's all due to you guys. We really appreciate all your support- nights like that make it all worthwhile. We've always said that Loaded is not a trio- we have a fourth member: YOU! Thanks also to Julia for all the cool decorations, Jasmin for the merch, Thorsten for the great music, everyone at Cafe Central for the help, and The Peacocks for being so kick-ass. *** Bernd took a few nice photos as usual, check 'em out at: http://yossarian.pytalhost.com/index.php *** Make sure to stop by the merch table at the next shows- we've got cool new football scarves and a new t-shirt design, courtesy of graphic stud Goetz (www.rockposter.de). *** Next week we're playing in Erfurt for the first time (I think?) with Turbostaat, so get your motors runnin' and head out on the highway. *** Xmas Tour with The Baboonz coming up... *** Have love, will travel, Nick

WOW... (02.11.2008)

...einfach wow.

DEAD MAN ROCKING (29.10.2008)

Dreimal schlafen dann isses soweit... the 5th Annual HALLOWEEN PARTY!!! TROUBLE BOYS & TROUBLE GIRLS- THIS ONE'S FOR YOU!!! Bis denne, der Nick

THE RETURN OF THE LOADED ZOMBIE ARMY (24.10.2008)

Servus... we survived the Baboonz CD release party down in Pfarrkirchen last Saturday. It was a killer party- nonstop dancing, drinking, and assorted shenanigans. Thanks to The Baboonz for a great show and lovely hospitality. We've already started planning some surprises for our Xmas tour together, so make sure to come out to the shows. *** HALLOWEEN PARTY: 01.November sees the return of the Loaded Zombie Army to the Cafe Central in Weinheim for one of the oldest Loaded traditions (going back to when we first started). Special guests this year are our good buddies THE PEACOCKS, the world's best punkabilly band and secret Kummerling fans. Julia will provide all the cool decorations again, and we'll probably have some other surprises planned for that night (including one or two new songs). Before and after the show, the Chocolate City Sound System (aka Thorsten and the Notroious N.I.C.K.) will be DJing, so bring your adult diapers and drinking shoes- it's gonna be one of THOSE nights. And make sure to wear a costume- not only is it more fun when everyone is dressed up, but you pay less to get in. Check Deko Buechele (Q5, 11) in Mannheim for all types of costumes and accessories. *** Back in black, Nick

GOT MY BOOGALOO WORKIN' (16.10.2008)

This Saturday (18.10.08), we're driving down South to play with our friends The Baboonz at their CD Release Party. The festivities take place at the Bogaloo Club in Pfarrkirchen (yes, I know that's not how "boogaloo" is spelled, but that's the club's name), down in deepest Bavaria. It's guaranteed to be one of the year's best parties, so set a course for adventure. Like the song says: "Down the road came a Junco Partner, he was loaded as could be..." ***** Go Deh! The Nick

DARMAGIDEON TIME (01.10.2008)

i hope everyone survived friday's gig in darmstadt. smaller crowd= shorter line at the bar= drunken fun= where did you go last night? thanks to everyone who made it, despite the short notice. we really had a great time with all of you. special thanks to no matter how for the short but great set, and also for answering the musical question "where have all the donkey jackets gone?" *** the countdown has started for the yearly halloween bash...see "gigs" for details. *** next up: pfarrkirchen, on 18.oct., at the baboonz cd release party. *** get down & get with it, nick

CALLING ALL GUT CITY ROCKERS (24.09.2008)

This Friday we're heading up to Darmstadt for a Soli-Gig for the Oettinger Villa. It's the first time we've played in Darmstadt for a long time, so we're looking forward to a wild show. Kick-ass streetska band No Matter How and punkers The Phlegmatix will be opening the festivities. It's all for a good cause, so saddle up and ride. *** Happy 2nd Birthday to our beautiful daughter June! *** Walk hard, amigos... Nick

KISS KISS BANG BANG (12.09.2008)

THANKS! THANKS! THANKS! to everyone who came out to the shows last weekend, in spite of the early start times and crap weather. *** Dortmund was a great party, although it's probably not the smartest idea to stay out drinking Astra until 4 a.m. when you have to play an early show the next day. Maks from RilRec wrote a review and posted some pix, check out http://rilrec.de/ Special thanks to Pedro for the show and Sandra for the accomodations. *** Rock Die Burg was a success despite the rain. Thanks to the 700 brave souls who came out for the show, and a big CHEERS to the Barmy Army for making it a party- you guys are the best. We'll be back to Bad Duerkheim soon for a longer show, so watch this space for details. *** We've added a show in Darmstadt on 26.09. It's short notice, but it's a Soli-Gig for the Oettinger Villa, so hopefully we'll see ya there. *** Halloween is coming up, so start thinking about your costume... 01.11. is the date, Cafe Central is the place, and The Peacocks are the guests. It's our 5th time doing the Halloween bash in Weinheim, and if you've been before, you know it's one of the best parties of the year! *** Our Xmas Tour is currently being planned, stay tuned for details.... *** Carry on my wayward sons, Nick

EARLY SHOWS THIS WEEKEND or WE'VE GOT A LONG WAY TO GO, AND A SHORT TIME TO GET THERE (03.09.2008)

Moinsen, hope everyone had a great summer (what little we actually had in 'schland). We've been hiding out in the practice room working on some new songs and getting ready for this coming weekend's debauchery. *** Friday we're in Dortmund again, this time with our old friends The Peacocks and hot local band außer Ich. Since the club has a 23.00 curfew, the doors are at 18.30 and the first band plays at 19.30. That means many of you will have to start drinking at work or at school to catch up. *** Saturday will be our first appearance in Bad Duerkheim, at the annual Rock Die Burg Open Air. We are playing FIRST at 18.30 (Einlass ist 17.30). Sorry about the early start, but Felix has a gig with his other band that was booked before he joined us. *** We still haven't been able to replace our computer at home yet, so I've only been able to check our MySpace page a couple times in the last months. You can always reach us at weerallcrazeenow@hotmail.com until we get back into the happy world of social networking. Thanks for your patience. *** R.I.P. Jerry Reed, one of my favorite musicians ever. I can't imagine a life without songs such as "Amos Moses," "When You're Hot, You're Hot," or "Guitar Man," and I don't think we've ever driven to a concert without hearing "Eastbound and Down" to get us pumped up. *** Stay Free, Nick

FREE SHOW! (23.07.2008)

We're goin' down to Moessingen this weekend for the 25th annual Umsonst & Draussen festival. We played there in 2001 and it was a great show, so we're really looking forward to it. Our show time is 22:50, so make sure to wear your drinking shoes. ***** Big thanks to everyone in Coburg who came out to the Outside Rodeo last Saturday, you guys were great. We played every song we know, plus one we didn't know, but hey, what can you expect when you play after the Jaegermeister Girls? ***** New shows will be announced shortly, watch this space! ***** Roll on, big thunder, roll on.... Nick

MORSCHE: COBURSCH (18.07.2008)

tomorrow geht's wieda los... get your ass to coburg for the "outside rodeo" festival. stage time is 22:30, but come early and get your drink and grill on. ahhh, saturday, how i love thee... see ya, the nick

HOLD FAST (11.06.2008)

Brothers & Sisters… it’s been a while! Apologies for the long wait between updates- unfortunately our house was broken into, and our computer along with all our other valuables was stolen. That means that until we can get a new computer, we only have limited Internet access. Also, we can’t access MySpace from our work computers, so we’re way behind on that area. Thanks for your patience, hopefully we’ll have a new one soon.***** The other big news is that Martin has unexpectedly left the band, meaning we had to cancel several shows in May and June. Our apologies to all the promoters, clubs, and everyone who was planning on attending the shows- his departure was completely without warning, and the time was too short to find someone to fill in. We are currently working with a new guitarist, and he’ll be making his debut this Saturday in Rastatt at the Art’n’Action Open Air (see SHOWS for more info- we play at 17:00).***** Keep on keepin’ on, and hope to see ya at the shows…. Nick

3 IS A MAGIC NUMBER... (04.03.2008)

Not only is March the 3rd month of the year, but we have 3 great shows lined up for you this month, including two hometown shows.... First, this Friday is the annual MSGR fest at the Forum der Jugend in Mannheim. 5 bands for 4 euros, can't beat it!.... Then, two weeks later in Wiesbaden, we'll be at the "Kids Strike Back Festival, Vol. 2" with some great bands and a killer niter that's sure to end in drunken foolishness.... To top off the month, we're playing on the 2nd day of the "NEVER SURRENDER FESTIVAL" at the 7er-Club in Mannem. Check under GIGS for all the great bands that are playing there, baby!.... We'll have a cool new t-shirt and buttons this week courtesy of wunderkind Goetzilla (rockposter.de), so make sure to check out the Merch Stand at the shows and say hi.... Also making their debut this month will be one or two new songs that we've been working on.... We're working on summer plans right now, stay tuned for some surprises.... Thanks for your never-ending support and see ya at the shows!

KICKIN' ASS FOR THE DRINKIN' CLASS... (16.01.2008)

Thanks to everyone that came out for the holiday shows over the last few weeks (greetings to the Worms-Fraktion), they were off the hook! It was a great way to end a great year, and we can't thank you enough for all the support you've shown us. 2008 is already shaping up to be a great year (thanks to everyone in Rastatt and Saarbruecken), so take care and we'll see ya at the shows!!!

DANKE!!! (07.11.2007)

Okay, we've finally recovered from the Hallowen party last week and wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that came out for the show! It was definitely the best Halloween party we've ever had- nonstop singalongs, dancing and drinking from start to finish. As always, you guys are really the fourth member of Loaded.******* Also, special thanks to THEM for a kick-ass show (We Are 138!) and to Anke for DJing. And thanks to everyone that came in costume- I think that was the most costumes we've ever had at a Halloween party.******** Bernd took pictures as usual, and you can check them out here: http://yossarian.pytalhost.com/ ****** The punks from Team Trash also shot photos, check 'em here: http://www.team-trash.de/component/option,com_gallery2/Itemid,63/?g2_itemId=33241 ******* There's also a nice review of the show at Regioactive: http://www.regioactive.de/story/5875/loaded_live_at_halloween.html ****** See ya soon- the road goes on forever...

2 TAGE NOCH... (29.10.2007)

Halloween kommt! Brauchste noch ein Kostüm? Check mal Deko Büchele (Q5, 11) in Mannem. See ya in the graveyard!

HALLOWEEN IS COMING... (22.10.2007)

...better get yer costumes ready! One more week dann iss es soweit... Details under GIGS. ***** Check out the latest reviews of "Hold Fast" at Enough Fanzine (http://www.enoughfanzine.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=2caab72a9b6b97b28a3e103389a640b1&rID=1814&view=reviews_music_detail), and at Crazy United (http://www.crazyunited.de/?page_id=5). Or, if you can read Italian, Marco from Klasse Kriminale reviewed the new album at Negatron, a fancy Italian rock webzine (http://www.negatron.it/content/view/19705/). Bella! ******* Blast from the past: here's a video clip of us playing "Skeleton Crew" at Berlin's Aposkalypse Festival in 2002. It was one of Martin's very first gigs with us, and was also Jesse's last gig: http://www.aposkalypse.de/video_loaded.html ****** RIP Paul Fox of The Ruts and David Fuentes of Hepcat, two musicians who were a big influence on us. ****** See ya on Halloween- stay spooky, kids...

UPDATE (02.10.2007)

First of all, BIG BIG THANKS to everyone who came to the show at Juz Mannheim. What an incredible night, with nonstop singalongs, dancing and stage invasions. It was the kind of gig that made us realize again why we play music. Thanks again, it really means a lot to us. BARMY ARMY RULES O.K.! Special thanks to the ARGIES, MARI & THE KRAUTS (great first show) and DOGGIRL for helping make the evening a success. Bernd has fotos at his page: http://yossarian.pytalhost.com/ ******Our last three LPs were recently featured in the "Mannem Uff Vinyl" exhibition, a retrospective of bands and musicians from or who spent a part of their career in Mannheim. It was mostly older acts like Joy Fleming and Caterina Valente, but our homeboys Achtung Spitfire Schnell Schnell were also included. If you missed the exhibition, there's a book covering the whole history of vinyl records in Mannheim. I think you can order it through nekk99.de. Respect to Goetzilla (rockposter.de) for all the fine artwork!******Coming this week on Mad Butcher Records is the "Skannibal Party Vol. 7" international ska sampler, featuring our song "Love Will Stand." We'll be getting some copies soon, so if ya want one, holla at ya boy. It'll cost 5 ois.*******HALLOWEEN PARTY: Coming up on 31.October at the Cafe Central in Weinheim is one of the oldest Loaded traditions (going back to when we first started). Special guests this year are THEM, a kick-ass MISFITS cover band. Sabine & Julia will provide all the cool decorations as they do every year, and I'm sure there will be other surprises planned for that night. After the show, I'll be DJing, so make sure to wear your drinking shoes. The show is on a Wednesday, but the next day is a holiday so there's no excuse not to miss it! Make sure to wear a costume- not only is it more fun when everyone is dressed up, but you pay less to get in. It's also our only show until December, because Martin is finishing up his diploma.*******See ya soon...

HOMETOWN THROWDOWN (14.09.2007)

Tomorrow night we're back home in Mannheim, playing at the Juz again (first time since March'06 w/Banda Bassotti). It's gonna be a wild wild night, so make sure to get their early- the bands start at 21:00. Special guests are THE ARGIES (77' punk & ska from Argentina), who we shared some fun gigs with in Italy a few years back, the debut gig of MARI & THE KRAUTS (yes, THAT Mari, plus Metulski, Janusch, and Hoeflich!), and fine punknroll from Weinheim's DOGGIRL. The alcohol will flow in rivers, the moon will be stomped, and the pogo will be a-go-go. Tonight we ride, goddamnit!*******Thanks to everyone who came out to the Nonstock Open Air last Saturday. We had a great time!

RETURN OF THE PACK (29.08.2007)

Ahoi! Hope everyone has had a great summer so far. Here at Loaded HQ we're getting ready to head back out on the road for the next few weekends.****** This Friday we're in Munich at the Backstage, and everyone who comes is on the guestlist. That's right, it's FREE, so you have more money for Jaegermeister (or a Loaded CD). We play at 21:00, so get there early. Russkaja and ALaSka play as well, and after the show there's a ska niter. On Saturday we're in Augsburg for the first time in like 8 or 9 years. The show is at the Mahagoni Bar in the Katakombe, and as far as I know we're the only band playing.********Next Saturday we're playing at the 10-year anniversary of the Nonstock Festival in Fischbachtal in the Odenwald. Loads of bands, drinking, camping, and other fun stuff all for a low price. Check their webpage for details (see GIGS).********We've got two big local shows coming up as well: 15.SEPTEMBER in the JUZ MANNHEIM, with our old friends the Argies, the first gig from Mari's band Mari & The Krauts (featuring Janusch, Hoeflich and Metulski, I think), and Doggirl. Come support the Juz and local bands! Then, on 31.OKTOBER, our annual HALLOWEEN PARTY at the CAFE CENTRAL in WEINHEIM returns. Start thinking of your costume now. More infos coming soon!!!*********Thanks to Kuba and the Mighty Sounds crew for the best festival ever! We really had a great time, and really recommend the festival to anyone looking for a fun trip next summer. 10,000 ska & punk fans can't be wrong! Also, if you're in the Czech Republic this summer, make sure to pick up the July/August issue of Filter (Czech's biggest music magazine) for a sampler of Mighty Sounds bands featuring Loaded, Peacocks, Flaming Cocks, Mad Sin, Slackers, & more. Sexy time!!!***********Okay, thanks for tuning in and thanks for your support. Konichi-wa, bitches.

The fest starts on Friday (with bands such as Skalariak, Mad Sin, & The Slackers) and goes until late Sunday night. With over 120 bands and DJs, plus loads of fun games (even paintball!) and film and theater, this is the festival to beat this summer. And it only costs 21 Euros for the whole weekend. Beer is just 1 Euro, and there's a camping area as well. Good morning neighbors,
We just posted a third track from our upcoming album "Hold Fast." The track ("All I Need") is also available with the new Plastic Bomb zine CD (issue #58).
The new album will be available from 16.03.

We just got our copies of the CD and LP and it looks and sounds fucking great. The LP is gatefold and is limited to 777 copies; the first 100 are on colored vinyl (Chucky and Rene- hab eure Kopies), so contact Dirty Faces soon if you're record collector scum like myself. Just a reminder: our Album Release Party/First Show After Babypause is coming up soon- Saturday, 24 March, at the Cafe Central in Weinheim (see the flier on our page for more details). It should be a wild party- people are coming from all over (well, Ireland and California anway). In addition to the new CD and LP, we'll have new t-shirts, patches, buttons and God knows what other crap for you to waste yer money on. Plus Currysau Kartell is playing. What more can you ask for from a Satuday night? Thanks for all the comments over the last months, it's great to hear from all of you. We try and write back as soon as we can, so please be patient with us if you don't hear from us right away. The road goes on forever, Loaded

It's also our first gig after the babypause, and some old bastard's birthday as well. Special guests are Currysau Kartell. We'll have new t-shirts and other crap that evening as well. Kauf den scheiss, alda! (www.cafecentral.de) -Tracks from the new album will be available on upcoming Plastic Bomb and Ox samplers, as well as the long-awaited Rhein-Neckar-Fuck sampler from pogoradio.de. -Gigs for the spring and summer are currently being organized, so stay tuned... -Our "other" webpage should be updated shortly as well.
