It's frustration and celebration. It's living for the weekend. It's cranking up the volume and feeling ten feet tall. It's about that first kiss, that first brawl, that first hangover, and the first time you heard music you could call your own. And it's happening right now…

LOADED come from the dirty streets of Mannheim, Germany, and even though they've played over 450 shows in 13 countries, and released four albums (and a sold-out, DIY cassette), their goals have always remained the same: play good and honest live shows, and never forget where you came from. Whether it's for 5 kids at the local youth center, 50 drunken St. Pauli fans on a train, 500 people at a nightclub, or 5000 punks at the Force Attack Open Air, the audience is the reason the band exists. Since their beginning in 1994, performing at bars and parties to anyone who cared, the band has always played each show as if it were their first one. This heartfelt solidarity, combined with their powerful live performance, has landed them gigs with bands such as Dropkick Murphys, Cocksparrer, Hepcat, Beatsteaks, Desmond Dekker, Mad Sin, Shelter, as well as numerous headlining tours and festivals of their own.

Inspired by the fire of The Clash, the energy of the Specials, the hooks of AC/DC, and the drinking ability of The Pogues, LOADED combines the sing-along, fist-in-the-air choruses of classic punk and oi!, the sweaty grooves of ska, beer-soaked rock'n'roll, and clever, socially-conscious lyrics, creating a sound that you don't hear much anymore these days.

But hey- trying to describe a band in a few sentences is like trying to drink just one beer on Saturday night. Just come to a damn show or pick up the new album and see for yourself.
